Time for some Rock & Roll!  London trio Wardance have just unleashed their fuzz-filled debut single Free Radicals, coming out on new indie label The Sound Of Everything UK.

This is a thick-guitar stomper with lo-fi vocals and monstrous bass. You can see some influences from 90’s elite of Nirvana, Weezer and early Soundgarden yet jagged with a harder edge of gnarled Brit-rock swagger. A nice way to start guys!!  It is the lead single taken from their upcoming debut EP due for release in October. The EP has been produced by Sean Genockey (Futureheads, Suede, Jesse Hughes) and has already been given the stamp of approval by rock royalty with The Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan recently tweeting the band his support.

Wardance are a powerhouse of unyielding riffs pulsating in the midst of an exciting grunge resurgence that’s powering across the UK, mixing classic sounds from early ‘90s Seattle rock with a distinctly British sensibility, filtered through the dirty prism of glam rock and the roughest fringes of Britpop.
