Departed (Turan)
Hey guys! Time for a brand new artist! Check out Departed, the lead track from Turan's forthcoming debut 'Persistence of Memory' EP, out on on August 18th via TRIBE Records. Turan is a producer, singer, spoken word/rapper and multi instrumentalist. This song is quite unique since it is a mix of Hip-Hop with ethereal guitar textures, earthy percussion sounds and great lyrics. I love the atmospheric feel of the track and it sounds so big!! Not only Turan worked on all aspects of his debut EP but also he is co-directing the visuals for all 5 tracks on the EP! We can see his musical influences on this track which include: Radiohead, Sade, Pink Floyd, Hans Zimmer, Bill Withers & Jeff Buckley. Can't wait to check out the video and the rest of the EP! Enjoy!
