Human Touch (Grum)
Leeds-based Scottish born Grum aka Graeme Shephard will be releasing his latest album, Human Touch, on April 14th and I've been lucky enough to have a listen before it comes out! If you guys enjoy electronic dance music (house, progressive, trance, etc) you're in for a treat with this album.
When speaking about the album Grum said:
“I wanted to write a dance album that people can appreciate as a whole, as an experience. I was specifically inspired by the way Orbital, Underworld and Leftfield etc. did this in the 80s and 90's. They produced incredibly popular albums, which took you on a journey, but did it successfully without making what might be deemed now to be obvious radio hits. This made me want to try and produce an album  which had similar musical highs and lows, and which hopefully fellow dance music lovers might listen to,  and cherish for years on end. The sort of album which you might put on to remind you of a great night out,  or to chill out to after you've just had one."
And that's exactly what he delivers with this project. The album takes us on a journey from euphoric tunes such as Raindrop, The Theme, In Love, etc, to the chilled ones like Lotta Love, Serotonin, Eyes Shut, etc. It is a very well produced album that can be played for years to come! I've got to say that my personal favourite song off this album is In Love, all thanks to the piano beat, its energy and late 90s dance feel! This to me is the best track and I'll bet it will be your personal favourite as well! The album will please all music lovers that like to have some fun and dance! He has outdone himself again! Don't forget: Human Touch will be out on April 14th!
