A polémica surgiu quando Louis Walsh tinha o voto decisivo e após ter escolhido Carolynne "mudou" de ideias e lá mandou para deadlock e quem ficou na competição foi Rylan Clark! Mal o resultado saiu Gary Barlow levantou-se e saiu! Sinceramente estou pasmado com esta 1ª noite de resultados! Não havia razão nenhuma para deadlock!! Acham que foi justo?

Rylan tried to sing One Night Only and Carolynne did an outstanding performance of Faith Hill's There You'll Be!! It came to Louis Walsh to decide who stayed and he said he wanted Carolynne to get through but among the noise he changed his decision and sent it to deadlock.
