And today were announced the 2012 American Music Awards! Leading the pack is Nicki Minaj and Rihanna, both up for 4 awards! Competing for the coveted Artist of the Year award are Rihanna, Drake, Justin Bieber, Maroon 5, and Katy Perry. Competing for the New Artist of the Year award are J. Cole , fun., Gotye, Carly Rae Jepsen, and One Direction. Christina Aguilera has been confirmed as a performer at the ceremony that will be broadcast live from the NOKIA Theatre in Los Angeles on November 18th at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
