I would like to introduce you to London duo: Automatic Writing. The duo's, brothers Neave and Jamie Merrick, music brings us back some of that 70s David Bowie's Low Berlin Era and John Maus, Wuthering Heights, to name a few. Their latest EP, Falling/Continuous is available for purchase (and you can stream it below). Continuous has cool synths and is the most experimental track. It combines futurewave, alternative and electro music with an almost effortless pop feel to it! It might be different from the mainstream but it appeals to pop lovers, trust me (I am one)! Falling's beginning is an epic use of synths and the vocals remind me more and more of the David Bowie influence. It is my favourite track. The combination of the synths, the vocals and the electro sounds just makes this song quite impressive. Their music is quite cinematic and I am sure they might become in high demand for soundtracks! They have embarked on a small run of dates that ends with the single launch on November 3rd.
