Lady Gaga #1 In The US: Sells Over 1 Million
Parabéns little monsters e mother monster!
Congratulations Gaga! And what we were all discussing last week happened! Born This Way sold over 1 million on its 1st week allowing Gaga to score the #1 spot in the US! The album sold 1,110,420 copies, dethroning Adele's 21 that sits now at #3! The 2 days of promotions on Amazon for $0.99 are responsible for almost 480,000 copies of this sum! Congratulations little monsters and mother monster!
congratulations cheap gaga. saved by the 99 cents
ReplyDeletehaha. loved the cheap comment. if britney's femme fatale was being sold for $0.99 on its release week she would have sold even more!!
ReplyDeleteYou guys Hahahaha just like every Britney fan right now, are DELUSIONAL LMFAO And do your math please, even without the Amazon promotion, Born This Way sold more in a week than Femme Fatale sold in 3 months LOOL and btw, the Amazon deal cost millions for the company, everytime someone bought a copy, Amazon would pay the rest of the payment to Gaga's record label. That did NOT happen to Britney, what happenned to her was: Buy two Burgers and get Femme Fatale for FREE!! So just stop the nonsense already, please! Plus, just in case you wonder, Born This Way sold more copies than Oops I Did It Again on their first day of sales !!!! Xxxxx
ReplyDeleteSlay This Way Reigns! And that's the truth!
ReplyDeleteIt's a great feat for Gaga. that's much about it... britney also had a remarkable week with oops i did it again.. peace and love :)
ReplyDeleteJames remember that Oops sold 1,319,193 units during its first week of sales! And that's before the download era and where the cds were more expensive.
ReplyDeleteOk, but it's still very delusional to say that Femme Fatale would have sold more if it was 0,99c and just look at Blackout, it didn't even went platinum yet!
ReplyDeleteIn Britney's defense... there was almost none promotion of her record.. and also the lip sync isn't grabbing the attention to new buyers. However I love her album, and Gaga's is also good. Both have their place in the pop world and we should all be grateful to have these artists! Britney has been around for quite a while now and it is a feat to continue on the top for this long.
ReplyDeleteif amazon didn't sell the album for $0.99 she wouldn't reach 1 million sales. so for most of us it is a false 1 million mark.
