E mais um novo artista que eu estou orgulhoso em vos apresentar: My Pet Dragon. Este casal, Todd Michaelsen e Reena Shah, criam excelente música juntos. A voz de Todd me faz lembrar de Matthew Bellamy dos Muse. O 1º Maxi Single que lançaram foi Lover In Hiding.mp3, que vos posso dizer que é uma excelente canção indie-pop! A perfeita melodia juntamente com a voz de Todd fazem desta canção um tema viciante, consigo ver este tema em diversas bandas sonoras. Neste mesmo maxi single estão outras 4 canções incluíndo Between Us (que eu facilmente incluíria na banda sonora de qualquer filme da saga Crepúsculo) e New Nation, que sai um pouco da sonoridade pop para um som mais folk! Agora neste novo Maxi Single, Flow.mp3, o duo volta a demonstrar a excelente qualidade do seu trabalho. Flow é sem dúvida uma excelente faixa, a sua sonoridade indie-pop não fica nada aquém das melhores faixas dos Muse. E os vocais de Reena complementam perfeitamente esta melodia. 5 remixes e 1 radio edit deste tema estão incluídos neste pacote, juntamente com uma excelente cover de Release dos Pearl Jam, arrepio-me todo a ouvir esta cover (já gostava imenso da original mas esta cover, para mim, está ao mesmo nível)! Excelente!!

And I'm proud to introduce you to My Pet Dragon. This US duo, Tood Michaelsen and Reena Shah, create awesome music together. Todd's voice reminds me of Muse's Matthew Bellamy. Their 1st Maxi Single, Lover In Hiding.mp3, has a great indie-pop feel to it! The vocals and the perfect melody are just great thus making this song very addictive, I can easily see this song featuring on many soundtracks. On this maxi single there are 4 other songs including Between Us (a song that I would easily use on the soundtrack of any Twilight movie) and New Nation, a song that goes in a more folky direction that the other 2. Now in this new Maxi Single, Flow, this couple shows again the excellent quality of their work. Flow.mp3 is definitely a great track, its indie-pop sonority is easily as good as some of the best Muse songs. And Reena's vocals are just perfect in this melody. 5 remixes and a radio edit of this song are included in this digi pack plus an awesome cover of Pear Jam's Release!! It gives me the chills everytime I listen to this cover (I used to love the original and to me this cover is as great). Excellent! So to finish this little review I would just like to say that My Pet Dragon are definitely a great duo, their fresh sound and lyrics are great and hopefully they continue to make great music!
