É dito que já contrataram os escritores Jon Hurwitz e Hayden Schlossberg para escreverem o guião do 4º filme que deverá trazer de volta algumas das personagens do filme original. Ainda não estão confirmadas nenhumas das estrelas da trilogia: Jason Biggs, Chris Klein, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Alyson Hannigan, Seann William Scott, Tara Reid, Shannon Elizabeth e Eugene Levy (que participou em diversas versões de American Pie lançadas directamente para DVD). Parece que a intenção é dar uma continuação à história... Depois do casamento vem o quê? American Pregnant?? Hum... vamos ver no que é que dá!
