Pois... parece que alguém não está a gostar da direcção que Sherlock Holmes está a tomar. Como todos os que já viram o filme, existe alguma tensão entre as personagens de Sherloch (Robert Downey Jr) e Watson (Jude Law). Uma tensão com um subtexto homossexual. Até Robert deu a entender a David Letterman que Sherlock era um homossexual "machão" (nada óbvio). O problema agora é que a mulher que detém os direitos de Sherlock Holmes, Andrea Plunket, não gosta da ideia homossexual... e diz que se ver que vão seguir nessa direcção ela não hesitaria em retirar a permissão da obra para prosseguirem com o filme... Ela diz que não é homofóbica, apenas não quer que sigam uma direcção que não respeite os livros. Minha filha... isso soa mais homofóbico que outra coisa... cada pessoa ao ler um livro tem a sua própria interpretação, acredito que possa ter havido pessoas a ter notado um subtexto homossexual entre ambos (o que não significa que irão por os 2 na cama). O que achas??

Yep... it seems someone isn't enjoying the direction Sherlock Holmes might take... As all that have seen the movie, there's some tension between Sherloch (Robert Downey Jr) and Watson (Jude Law), with a homoerotic subtext. Even Robert told Letterman that Sherlock was a butch homosexual. However Andrea Plunket, the owner of the U.S. copyrightto the books, doesn't like the idea of a homosexual relationship between those characters. Plunket said: "I hope this is just an example of Mr Downey's black sense of humour. It would be drastic, but I would withdraw permission for more films to be made if they feel that is a theme they wish to bring out in the future. I am not hostile to homosexuals, but I am to anyone who is not true to the spirit of the books." Hum.. I doubt they'll put Sherlock and Watson kissing or having sex... and this lady seems a bit homophobic to me... what do you think?
