King Pigeon Share New Single ‘Moonlight’

Munich-based indie/synthpop band King Pigeon have just shared their brand new single Moonlight, a smooth, soulful blend of indie and dream-pop elements.

I am loving Nicole Buuck's vocals and how they effortlessly infuse the song with a depth of emotion and a dreamy touch that is quite soothing, like a warm embrace. I am also very fond of the verse in Portuguese and how her vocals are carried by lush guitar riffs, steady drum beats and a Lating groove that come together to create a whimsical and nostalgic cut. Towards the end of the song we have a spoken word part of an excerpt of Brasilian writer Gregório Duvivier's book "Aos Pés da Letra".
