ROREY Unveils New Single ‘Sudden Death’

New York native singer-songwriter ROREY shares her brand new single Sudden Death, a smooth indie-pop song out now on Killphonic Records.

The follow up to her powerful and poignant bedroom pop gem Temporary Tragedy, and cathartic dream-pop gem Dying Fire, Sudden Death is a song about surrendering to someone as the feelings are already overpowering enough, making "defeat" inevitable. It shows ROREY realising that the moment that person entered the picture, emotional control was gone, making this quite an intense, somewhat self-destructive, experience. A story that is beautifully conveyed through ROREY's smooth, emotive vocals that glide delicately over grit-laced guitars, bright electronics, steady beats and textures that come together to create an overall warm atmosphere perfect for an introspective moment.

Speaking about the song, ROREY said,
'Sudden Death' admits defeat before the game ever begins because I already knew I lost to my feelings for this person. It's also an innuendo for intense desire that goes far beyond yearning into borderline obsessive memories that held me hostage in the past I projected onto the present.
