Holly Havens Shares New Single ‘Time Traveler’

West Michigan-based singer and songwriter Holly Havens has just shared her brand new single Time Traveler, a delicate guitar-driven pop song with a retro vibe.

A song that blurs the lines between reality and fiction, sharing a story about a love that transcends time and place. It also shares the fear that the other person won't give you a chance if they know that time together isn't that long. A relatable song beautifully conveyed through her lovely, delicate vocals which are accompanied by intricate guitar riffs and steady drum patterns that come together to create an overall warm, comforting atmosphere.

Speaking about the song, Holly Havens said,
In this song, I imagine myself as a time traveler that has traveled back in time to the year 1785. However, something unexpected happens when I travel to that time period; I meet a man and fall in love. In the song, I worry how he will take the news when he discovers I am from the future and have to leave him soon to return to the present. Is it possible for us to have a love that transcends the confines of time and space? Am I selfish for even proposing such an idea? This song blurs the lines between fiction and reality, as it was also partially inspired by the fact that when I met my husband at university, I was on a student visa and knew I'd have to leave soon, so I had worried he wouldn't give me a chance.
