Daniel Arison Drops New Single ‘Anything In Common’

American singer and songwriter Daniel Arison shares his brand new single Anything In Common, a heartfelt reflection on the emotional journey of growing apart from lifelong friends.

Following the success of his previous singles Easier To Hate You and Other People, Anything In Common is one of his most revealing songs to date, showing a personal and vulnerable side to his storytelling. The song emerged from a true and universal experience of drifting away from childhood friends, and how with time the people that were very close to you growing up are now distant friends. It's part of growing up and Arison beautifully captures those feelings in this song with his lovely, heartfelt vocals gliding over the infectious pop production. Accompanying his vocals we have steady drum patterns seamlessly intertwined with cool guitar riffs and subtle, delicate piano keys that culminate into an infectious chorus perfect to sing along to. A great pop song for radios and for laid-back weekends.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, Daniel reveals:
This is probably the scariest and most revealing song I have ever written. The hardest part of growing up is realizing that you also grow apart from so many people in your life. When I wrote this song, my first thought was what would happen when it comes out, and how my friends would react to it. The people who are still part of my life in some way but no longer as close as they used to be.
