Louis Pax Share New Single ‘this is not america (i heard it on the news)’

Swedish pop band Louis Pax, consisting of lead singer Oscar Reingsdahl, his brother Gustav Reingsdahl on guitar and Hannes Tingfors on bass, share their brand new single this is not america (i heard it on the news), a song that expresses the sense of disillusionment and frustration with the state of modern society in America, highlighting the need for change and progress.

Taken from their newly released EP in case i don't see ya, part 1, this is not america (i heard it on the news) finds the band singing about the state of current America, from controversial self-defense laws, increase of violence, the fading of women's rights and rising discrimination against LGBTQ+ people. It shows this current state of affairs in America does not represent the true American spirit. This message is delivered through oscar's gorgeous, expressive vocals which are backed by steady drum patterns seamlessly paired with cool strings, soaring electric guitar riffs and brass touches that together create an overall warm atmosphere perfect for a long drive and/or chill days at home.
