Jay Mezo Shares New Single ‘Areias do Deserto’

Portuguese artist Jay Mezo shares his brand new single Areias do Deserto (which mean Desert Sands in English), a captivating Hip-Hop infused piece of Contemporary R&B music. 

 

The follow up to his laid-back gem Dor de Cabeça, which arrived in June, Areias do Deserto is the second single to be lifted from his upcoming album, Só, Tão, set to arrive in 2024. What I like the most about this song is how smooth, yet passionate and dynamic his vocal delivery is, exuding soul and raw emotion while gliding effortlessly over the chilled-out production. Even if you don't understand Portuguese you can clearly feel the emotion pouring from his voice, and how warm and comforting the melodies are.
