Otto Aday Shares New Single ‘Hearts’
London-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Otto Aday shares his brand new single Hearts, the second single to be taken from his upcoming album, Persona.
Out now via Bay Street Records, and co-written with award winning icon Dave Stewart Hearts is a heartfelt piano-based gem packed with raw, honest emotion and soul. I am in locve with Otto Aday's evocative vocals and emomtionally charged refrain that instantly gave me the feels. Hearts is a song about nurturing our dreams, a powerful message that is backed by sparse piano keys seamlessly paired with lush strings, punchy drums and strings that build up in pace and energy to match the emotion pouring from his vocals. This is such a beautiful gem that keeps me coming back for more and I think you will love it as much as I do.
The song arrives with an introspective performance-style music video filmed in the fames Studio Two at Abbey Road Studios, the legendary room that captured the bulk of The Beatles catalogue, among many other acclaimed albums. In face, Otto is captured performing the song on the treasured Mrs Mills piano that was the go-to piano used by The Beatles. While in the Abbey Road studio, Otto recorded five acoustic versions of the songs from Persona that are set to be released in tandem with the studio album.
Speaking about the song, Otto notes,
If you hold onto your dreams, they won’t break your heart. If you live inside of those dreams, you don’t hurt yourself. You can nurture your dreams and follow them wholeheartedly—whether it be in a relationship or a career. If you fall out of love with the chase and the journey, you’ll break your own heart.
