Jonah Kagen Shares New Single ‘Pollution’
Georgia-based singer and songwriter Jonah Kagen has just shared his brand new single Pollution, a heartfelt acoustic/folk gem out now via Arista Records.
I am a fan of Jonah Kagen's warm, commmanding vocals which exude so much emotion and soul that is impossible not to fall in love with. Following his recent hit single, The Roads, Pollution arrives as another stunning display of Jonah’s distinct acoustic-driven sound. A song about nostalgia and wanting to go back to a time when things were more innocent and simple, Pollution is backed by a dynamic folk-rock instrumentation with intricate guitars, delicate piano keys, lush rhythms and percussive elements that culminate in a memorable and powerful chorus that will tug at heartstrings.
Accompanying this gem, Jonah shares its official music video which was shot in one-take by David Od. Check it out below!
Speaking about the song, Jonah Kagen said,
’Pollution’ is about nostalgia, but more specifically, it’s about the desperate craving to get back to a time of simplicity and innocence. I think there’s something especially heartbreaking about losing your innocence as you grow up, and it’s something that I think about every day.
