Mat Hannah Shares New Single ‘Unlucky’

Canadian singer and songwriter Mat Hannah (and lead singer for the PEI-based band Little Cities) has just shared his brand new single Unlucky, the first track to be taken from his upcoming solo EP set to arrive this Fall/Autumn. 

 

I am really enjoying the tone of his vocals and how passionate his vocal delivery is, flowing effortlessly over the upbeat electro-pop production. Unlucky is an introspective and honest song that grasps at a sense of comfort in a melancholic state. The song shares a positive message that reminds listeners that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. This message is wrapped around an upbeat electro-pop production packed with intricate guitars that are nicely intertwined with punchy drums and lush synths which create an euphoric, feel-good atmosphere perfect for a fun summer's day.
