Rafaèlla Shares New Single ‘lost into the chords’
London-based, Cypriot singer and songwriter Rafaèlla has just shared her brand new single lost into the chords, the latest single to be taken from her debut album, sincerely, me, out now.
The follow up to her sweet single Big World, lost into the chords is a heartbreaking piano-based ballad that beautifully showcases her incredible talents as a singer and songwriter. This is a song that reflects all the pain she felt at that time and I am sure most of us can relate to it. I am really enjoying her lovely vocals and how they are packed with raw, honest emotion and show a vulnerable side of Rafaèlla which is enhanced by the warm, piano-based production. Speaking about the song, Rafaèlla said,
I felt so lost, i'd stay up for weeks, i couldn't sleep at all. I'd stare at my ceiling all night long trying to figure out why he left. Sometimes i'd play some piano to ease up the pain, to silence my thoughts. I wrote the song a rainy night, around 2 am. It was the first time i realized that i was playing the same four chords over and over again and this melody that was stuck in my head. I got my first night of sleep after a while that night. Full 8 hours and everything, it was great.
