Yonatan Rukhman Shares New Single ‘What I Need’
Tel Aviv-based electronic music artist Yonatan Rukhman has just shared his brand new single What I Need, a groovy piece of Nu-disco music out now via Italian label Solid State Disco.
I am loving the song's feel-good atmosphere and how the beat instantly gave me the urge to get up and dance. What I Need showcases Yonatan's unique sound which he calls Hippie House, an intoxicating blend of rock, r&b and soul elements. I am particularly fond of the electric guitar line and how the song has an infectious retro groove that I find to be simply irresistible. This is a killer song to get everybody in a good mood and dancing in no time. Check it out below!
Speaking about the song, Yonatan said,
The track "What I Need" is in a genre I would call Hippie House...it was created while sampling a rock/r&b/soul loop and thickening it with an electric guitar line, creating a 70s sounding groove supported by a massive house loop. The feeling I got from this was getting transported in time to a Woodstock rave with a modern pumping sound system. In fact I originally thought of calling the tune "Barefoot Ravers".
