POLICE CAR COLLECTIVE Share New Single ‘I THINK I THINK TOO MUCH’
Rising British indie-pop/rock band POLICE CAR COLLECTIVE, consisting of friends Tyler and Simon, have just shared their brand new single I THINK I THINK TOO MUCH, the latest single to be taken from their upcoming EP, 1980, set to arrive on June 18th!
As the title implies, I THINK I THINK TOO MUCH is a song about anxiety and self-awareness and I think most of us can relate to it. I am one of those people that tend to overthink things which is a clear sign of anxiety and insecurity and I like the way the duo wraps it around a high-energy indie-pop/rock production. I am particularly fond of the attitude-packed vocals and how they soar over the soaring guitars and punchy drums. This energetic song is accompanied by a captivating, retro-inspired music video, directed by Nicoletta Kate, which you can check out below!
Speaking about the song, Tyler said,
I wrote it after I had started dating my girlfriend but was sort of unsure about if I made the right choice. In any situation like that but especially when you're young I think you get caught up in this never ending loop of self-doubt and uncertainty with any major life change. This song was just me trying to get that feeling out.
