Mullally Unveils New Single ‘Lonely Too Long’

British neo-soul singer and songwriter Mullally return with a lovely new single titled Lonely Too Long, which beautifully showcases his empowered attitude, stunning lyricism, and soulful vocals.

I love his rich, soulful vocals which soar effortlessly over the chilled out neo-soul/r&b production packed with lush piano chords, cool percussion and an infectious beat. Lonely Too Long is a wonderful piece of music about the sadness of being lonely and the happiness of finding love. I am also very fond of the layered vocals that enhance the richness and emotion of his vocal delivery. This is one of those songs perfect to play while home alone on a rainy day. Speaking about the song, Mullally said,

I wanted to capture the sadness of being lonely and the joy of finding someone, all in the same track. This track is really close to my heart because even though it’s written about a very particular point in my life, it manages to pop back up and be relevant over and over again as life continues. I wrote this almost 3 years ago with Eg White and Jon Green, two amazing musicians, so I’m thrilled that I can finally share this song. I'm also excited to be working with Marmalade Trust to bring awareness around loneliness in the UK.
