VERIDIA Share New Single ‘Light It Up’

American alt-rock band VERIDIA, consisting of frontwoman Deena Jakoub, guitarist Brandon Brown and drummer Kyle Levy, have just unveiled their brand new single Light It Up, a energetic piece of pop-rock music with a revolutionary vibe.

Light It Up was inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement and the number of movements abroad advocating for human rights and is the band's way to inspire a positive change in the world. I am loving Deena Jakoub's powerful vocals and how they are beautifully backed by a high-energy production packed with soaring guitars and punchy percussion. This is a great pop-rock track with tons of heart and energy with an overall anthemic atmosphere that I think you guys will enjoy. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Deena Jakoub said,

Our new single, “Light it Up” is about being inspired by those brave enough to speak up and take action against injustice and advocating for human rights with love and grace. This song isn’t condoning violence or literal arson, it’s about our internal, metaphorical fires of compassion and strength that spark real change. It was inspired by the resilient people in my personal life and those who strive and hope every day for a more unified tomorrow...
