Casey Sana Unveils New Single ‘Growing Older’
American singer and songwriter Casey Sana has just unveiled his brand new single Growing Older, a captivating piece of indie-pop music taken from his debut album, Watching The Face Of Strangers, out now!
What I like the most about this song is its warm and laid-back atmosphere and how Casey's vocals soar beautifully over the lush production. Growing Older is a song about living life the best way we can as there are no do-overs. This is quite a relatable song as it shares a message of having something to show for one's life and not feeling like you've wasted it or missed out on something you should have done. This song makes one really think about what's really important in life and stop dwelling about the little things.
I am really enjoying the intricate guitar riffs and an infectious beat that instantly infuse the song with a feel-good, laid-back atmosphere perfect for a hot sunny day at home. Have a listen to this beautifully-written song below!
Speaking about the song, Casey said,
Life is now, you know. We don’t get no reruns, no do-overs, no time back; once it’s gone it’s gone. And for some people that’s scary, but for me it’s even more of an incentive to stop worrying about the little things, be grateful for what I do have and get out there and experience life! That last line of the second verse is so true. I’ve realised as I’ve gotten older that I’m not really scared of dying, I’m just scared of dying with nothing to show for my life. I don’t want to be in my 60s saying ‘I wish I did that’, I wanna be sharing the memory of the time I DID that thing and reminisce on how fun, stupid or amazing it was!
