Anna Bea Shares Debut Single ‘Bleeding Heart’
London-based singer and songwriter Anna Bea makes her musical introduction with the release of her lovely debut single Bleeding Heart, a song inspired by the TV show Big Little Lies.
Anna Bea's music is a blend of Carly Simon vocals with FINNEAS and Maroon 5 style productions, taking lyrical inspiration from artists such as Sara Bareilles and Billy Joel. I am really enjoying her honest and relatable storytelling and how her smooth vocals are beautifully accompanied by intricate acoustic guitar melodies and emotive piano chords. Bleeding Heart is the first single to be taken from her upcoming debut EP set to arrive later this year and 10% of the proceeds of this single are going towards helping women and children vulnerable to domestic abuse. Have a listen to this lovely song below!
Speaking about the song, Anna Bea said,
This song is about a toxic relationship – that moment when you want to leave but your innate fear of being alone draws you back into a destructive love. I wrote this song a year and a half ago, inspired after watching ‘Big Little Lies’ and a portion of the proceeds are going to WomensAid charity helping women and children vulnerable to domestic abuse'.
