American singer and songwriter Marya Stark has just shared her brand new single In Between, the second single to be lifted from her upcoming album, Sapphire.

In Between is a lush piece of indie-folk music inspired by the Arthurian Legend of the Sword In The Stone. It speaks to tending the fragile fires of an exhausted soul, who comes to terms with releasing the burdens of saving the day. This song shares a message about learning how to grieve death in order to live life more fully. I am really enjoying her distinctive vocals which infuse the song with a dreamy and magical touch and soar effortlessly over the smooth melodies packed with intricate guitar riffs and subtle cello strings.
