New York-based Non-Binary singer and songwriter Mae Krell have just shared their brand new single Home, a captivating piece of pop music.
I am loving their soft vocals and how they are packed with raw emotion, instantly connecting the emotion of their lovely storytelling of finally finding what home is to them. I am really enjoying how the production creates quite an intimate and emotive atmosphere for their vocals to soar effortlessly. Speaking about the song, Mae Krell said,
I wrote it when I first moved back home to NYC after being away for a while to work on myself. For the first time, I really valued my life, and suddenly I was scared of everything around me. There was a fear that formed because I actually cared about myself and my safety; "home" is about coming to terms with that.
