Aquilo Share New Single ‘Just Asking’
I adore those emotive vocals which flow effortlessly over the infectious production packed with emotive strings, lush piano keys, sweeping harmonies and an expressive topline. I am a big fan of their music (still listen to their gem Silhouette) and I am so excited to share this gem with you guys. Aquilo have a gift to capture raw emotion that goes straight to our hearts and this piano-based gem does that beautifully. Speaking about the song, Aquilo said,
We’re super excited to let Just Asking go. We’ve actually been sitting on it for a year or so now. It was written in London when we were unsure as to where the new music would go and what we wanted to do. The lyrics kind of speak for themselves on this one. We’d been working on being a little more literal with our writing and we kind of feel we got that with Just Asking!
