Moncrieff Unveils New Single ‘In My Room’
I am a sucker for piano-based songs and this one ticks all the boxes for me with tons of emotion and melancholia. Moncrieff said this is a demo version and I think this song needs no more work as it is packed with so much raw emotion that instantly makes the listener connect to what Moncfrieff's soulful and passionate vocals are singing about. The combination of emotive piano keys and haunting harmonies gives me the chills!! I really like how he captured the madness of what's going on in the world and beautifully conveyed it via a melancholic song packed with so much heart and soul that is impossible not to love. Speaking about the song, Moncrieff said,
I hope you're all staying safe and relatively sane during these crazy days. So I wrote something that's basically about how I feel about all the madness of the last few days. I've decided to release it in its raw demo form, it feels like the world is ending so fuck it why not.
