Silver Cup Unveil New Single ‘Sabbath’
Utah-based indie-pop trio Silver Cup, consisting of siblings Campbell, Hadley and Logan Nelson, have just shared their smooth new single Sabbath, a love/hate song about living in a small town.
As a small-town guy myself, I've got to say that I relate 100% to the song as I sometimes am fed up at how hard it is to have a low key presence in a town where everybody knows everybody and the pressure to maintain appearances of a perfect life is a norm. I do love my small town but sometimes I just want to pack my bags and leave!
Sabbath is such a beautifully-written and produced piece of indie-pop music (which they produced themselves) and I love how Hadley and Logan's vocals fit great together. The guitar riffs are quite captivating and I am loving the somewhat laid-back and hazy atmosphere of this song that feels perfect for a relaxing sunny day at home or walking in your home town. To accompany the song, the siblings shared its official music video which was directed by Derek Wride. Check it out below!
