Taylor B-W Drops New Single ‘Be Mine’
What instantly caught my attention was her soulful and powerful vocals which soar beautifully over the production and give the song that special touch. Even though the song has an upbeat and groovy production, it contrasts with the gloomy lyrics that tell a story of wanting to connect with someone in a world that relies more and more on apps than real, face to face connection. People focus too much on portraying a fake reality on social media which doesn't allow us to establish real connections and leave us all alone despite being surrounded by others/followers.
The soulful touch of Taylor's vocals in this song just makes it sound like an anthem and its catchy hook got me singing along to it in no time. She wrote the song with producer/engineer Tim Watt (Crooked Colours, Hermitude) and his songwriting partner, Tim McCartney (Asta, Lola Scott). Be Mine was created in their first session.
