The Hi Unveil Brilliant New Single ‘Sway’

Danish 3-piece band The Hi have just unveiled their brand new single Sway, taken from their eponymous debut EP, which is out now and includes the previously released singles Shout Fire and Can't Come Down.

I am a big fan of their emotive pieces of indie-rock music and this one is no different. Sway is a song about the pain of a lost love and it sticks to your head after the very first listen thanks to its infectious melodies and soulful vocals. I am loving the piano melody intertwined with a lush, deep beat that creates an inviting and memorable atmosphere. The song then builds into a pure indie-rock piece with soaring guitars and percussion that perfectly wrap Henrik's lush and emotive vocals. The bridge is one of my favourite parts of the song thanks to the backing vocals, energetic synths and guitars that give the song a highly infectious and anthemic touch.
