Seaker unveils new single ‘Woven’
London-based artist/producer Seaker, the moniker of Kiran Hungin, is back with yet another dreamy new single titled Woven, a beautiful song about lifelong friendships and deep feelings that linger on from childhood.
I am a fan of her ethereal-like vocals which give the song a dreamy and magical touch that makes Woven quite a memorable listen. The production of this song is quite smooth and allows her enchanting vocals to soar and convey the emotion of the lyrics. There is somewhat of a melancholic touch that got me hooked to the song, mostly thanks to those emotive piano keys. I am also loving the soaring guitars and the song's overall atmospheric production makes this quite an "earthy" piece of music perfect for a chilled out weekend at home!
Speaking about the song Seaker said,
Initially I planned to record something very bare bones, a live take with the piano and voice, but quickly the track seemed to develop a mind of its own and before I knew I was asking friends to play on the song and it became a more developed production. I didn’t write it to be released as it was a more personal thing, but as time went on I felt I wanted to release it. I’ve shed quite a few tears over it and I’m very connected to it now. It feels like it’s probably one of the most personal songs I’ve written. I always aim to be honest, so I want to share it.
