Mari Dangerfield Drops New Single ‘Love Machine’
London-based, Anglo-Portuguese alternative pop artist Mari Dangerfield has just unveiled her brand new single Love Machine, a catchy piece of electro-pop music about the romantic feelings one gets when one meets someone for the first time and immediately hits it off.

I am really enjoying her vocal delivery in this song which has a playful vibe that instantly makes it easy on the ear and perfect to sing along. The instrumental is packed with quirky vintage instruments that give the song a captivating and unique touch. The song features the distinctively weird-sounding Dubreq Pianomate, a plunger panel and amp synth for the piano, and a triumphant solo from the Stylophone Gen X-1 at the song’s conclusion. All this makes Love Machine one of those songs that stick to your head after the very first listen thanks to her playful vocal delivery, killer bass and quirky instrumentation. Mari is definitely setting herself apart from the other by adding these elements to her music, creating her own unique sound. Love Machine can also get you dancing as it draws inspiration from some disco and electro-pop classics. Check it out below!

Love Machine is based on an experience Mari once had when she met someone for the first time,
The second I looked at them, I knew I was in for a very exciting experience, as if I’d known them all my life and had just been waiting for that moment. It’s also about questioning everything when something like this happens, because it can seem so unbelievable, and that battle between your logical mind saying ‘hold it there’ and your hormones going ‘this is the one’ ensues. It’s a very weird but exciting feeling and I wanted to convey that in something danceable but also a bit quirky and deep.
