Tess Posner Unveils New Single ‘The Mask’

Indie electronic artist Tess Posner has just unveiled her brand new single The Mask, a collaboration with Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer Sal Oliveri (Pink, Chris Martin, Carrie Underwood, Ryan Tedder).

I am really enjoying that expansive, hypnotic beat on which her smooth, dulcet vocals flow effortlessly. There's a futuristic vibe I'm getting with this song thanks to its atmospheric electronics that reminds me a bit of acts like Massive Attack and Zero 7 with a more pop-leaning side.

The Mask is a song that addresses how society tries to dictate who we are allowed to be and contemplates a longing for authenticity, and the fears and realities that hold us back from living out loud as our full selves. When I first listened to this song I instantly thought of those fantasy/sci-fi movies and how it would be perfect for the end credits of one of those movies. Check it out below!
