Canadian/American singer-songwriter Martene Clayton has just unveiled her brand new single Should've Been, featuring Detroit-based artist Black Poet. This is a lovely song that tells the story of a girl fighting an internal battle, isolating herself from others until she finds her way.

I am really enjoying her powerful, soulful vocals which are perfectly backed up by a lush piano-based melody that sets an emotional atmosphere. Should’ve Been is a captivating piece of introspective music about trying to find one's way with the rap, courtesy of Black Poet, showing that he sees and believes in the best of her.
