WHALE CITY Unveil New Single ‘Daylight’
Germany-based trio WHALE CITY have just unveiled their brand new single Daylight, a song about the inevitable end of a relationship and aceepting that it is over.

As soon as I pressed play I knew I was going to love this song. Really enjoying how it starts with those lovely guitar strums before Andy's powerful vocals sealed the deal for me. His tone gives me vibes of Muse's Matthew Bellamy and Hurts' Theo Hutchcraft, so if you love these two bands you will adore Daylight.

This is a passionate piece of atmospheric pop music with an anthemic vibe that makes it extremely catchy. Loving those guitar riffs, emotive piano keys and the soaring chorus that got me singing along to it in no time. The synth lines are impeccable and just add to the euphoric tone of this pop/rock ballad. If you're into infectious pieces of pop/rock music, with powerful vocals, soaring guitars and drums and infectious synth lines, then you will love Daylight. I simply can't get enough of it and I think you guys will love it. Watch the official music video below!

Speaking about the song lead singer Andy said,
To recognize an end is one thing. But the other thing is to really put an end to it. The withdrawal from the usual togetherness is an inner struggle, especially when the other person is still close to one’s heart and when there are rays of hope in the darkness again and again, which are still not enough to reignite love. Just because something can not go on does not mean that it wasn’t worth it.
