Vanessa Forero unveils ‘Pablo Escobar’ music video
Pablo Escobar is a captivating piece of Folk/Acoustic music, and I really liked the storytelling vibe of the song. There's something very hypnotic in the way she sings and tells her story and I think you guys will enjoy it as much as I do.
The song came to Forero in a dream, for which she always feels obliged to complete and deliver, but knowing the pain that the subject of her song has caused in Colombia made this request feel like a tall order. Having buried the song for almost three years, she finally agreed to stay true to the inspiration that knocked on her dreams, and release the song - knowing art isn't always comfortable or to highlight just the pretty things. The stunning animated music video for Pablo Escobar was born out of a collaboration with UK-based animator/illustrator Malky Currie and you can watch it below!
