Kailee Morgue Unveils New Single ‘Headcase’
Critically acclaimed gothic pop singer and songwriter Kailee Morgue has just unveiled her brand new single Headcase, featuring multi-talented artist, songwriter and director Hayley Kiyoko. I am really enjoying this infectious piece of electro-pop music that packs quite a punch. Kailee wrote this empowering queer pop power anthem with CJ Baran who also produced it and drew inspiration from Kailee’s struggles with her mental health and bipolar disorder.

I am loving the guitars and the smooth vocal delivery is highly addictive. Headcase is a great piece of alt/electro-pop music with~meaningful lyrics, moody synths and an infectious chorus. Stream it below!

Speaking about Headcase, Kailee said,
When I wrote this song, I knew I wanted a strong female artist like Hayley on the track to not only represent the LGBTQ community, but to help translate the idea of owning your issues.

Hayley added,
I’m such a fan of Kailee’s music, and when she sent me ‘Headcase’ I really connected with the song right away. I was in a dark place of figuring out my own mental health at the time, and I related so much to the lyrics. That's such a normal feeling, like you’re going crazy sometimes and can’t quite make sense of your emotions. It just felt like a perfect song for us to collaborate on.
