French Indie-pop act Octavio Mai, comprised of Juliette Elbaz and Johan Putet, have just unveiled their brand new single Yeux Turquoise, a mesmerising piece of electro pop music. My French is a bit rusty but the soft melodies perfectly transmit the feelings and emotions of the lyrics. Juliette's smooth vocals are incredibly captivating and I love that ethereal touch in the chorus. Yeux Turquoise (Blue/Turquoise Eyes) is a highly hypnotic piece of electro pop music, super smooth with killer synth lines and packed with lots of emotion.
To accompany the release the duo unveiled the mesmerising visuals that follow Juliette falling in love with a mystical creature and runs away to be with him. The video reminds me a bit of the Oscar winning movie The Shape of Water! Watch it below!
