Time to finish the weekend in a good mood. Germany-based DJ and Producer Monte makes his debut on Eskimo Recordings with his awesome new single Close 2 Me and it will get you dancing in no time. I am loving the 80's vibe of the song with those shimmering synths and groovy beats.

The energy of the song got me hooked to it after the very fist listen. Monte delivers here an infectious piece of Disco House music with funky guitar riffs. Speaking about the song Monte explains,
It all started with the bass-line. People know my early work for being bass line driven and this one is no exception. A good friend of mine said: No matter what you do, you'll always come back to your first love, and in my case it was funk! "Close to me" marks the return of the Monte Funk sound, refined, straight to the bone. This one goes out to the ones who always believed that their lover is the chosen one, and fought hard for it, and have been rewarded with a long lasting relationship.
