The Spencer Leed Band
The Spencer Lee Band, lead by Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Spencer Lee, have just dropped their stunning single River Water, taken from their self-titled debut EP, out now via School Boy Records/The Brain Music/Republic Records.

I am a sucker for acoustic songs and this one is right up my alley. That raspiness on Spencer's stunning and distinctive vocals add so much emotion to the song that make you feel each word he sings. The guitar works are flawless and really captivated me fully and I can't stop listening to this gem. There's a raw and soulful vibe to the song that is simply hypnotic!

River Water is a vivid account of Spencer Lee's as a homeless in Los Angeles and speaking about it he said,
I was homeless in these L.A. streets when I wrote ‘River Water.’ Fuck being homeless. It sucks. I want people to keep fighting the good fight. This is for all of them still out in those streets at night.

River Water is my favourite track off of their EP but I'd highlight the gritty, rock-tinged The Wolf, which featured on the 50 Shades Freed Official Soundtrack Album. Stream the full project below!
