Young & Sick Unveils New Single "No Static"
Dutch-born, LA-based Nick van Hofwegen, musician and visual artist known as Young & Sick, has released his brand new single, No Static, the title track and 1st single from his upcoming No Static EP set for release this year via B3SCI Records.

This song is super addictive guys! A dreamy piece of Disco-tinged Pop music with infectious melodies and hook. Speaking about the song Nick said No Static is,
...a song about how hard it is to follow your own advice at times. How difficult it proves to be to do the right thing all the time, even if your compass is steady. I hear you loud and clear all love, no static...

Young & Sick has also announced a pair of upcoming Los Angeles & NYC headline dates:

Jul 25 // Los Angeles, CA @ Moroccan Lounge
Aug 16 // NYC, NY @ Elsewhere (Zone 1)
Sep 22 // Campo Mosqueda, MX. @ Celsius Music Festival

Born in southern Holland, Nick attempted the traditional route of art through design school but he dropped out in his first year, quit his job and move to London where, by a crux of fate, comedian Andy Dick came across a piece of his art. Nick's friend Mark had introduced them about a week prior. Suddenly, Nick had his first client. Shortly after, Mark's own band—a then little-known outfit by the name of Foster the People—asked Nick to do the artwork for their debut album Torches in 2011.

Nick has gone on to designing for others including covers for Maroon 5's Overexposed and Mikky Ekko's Kids, as well as designing his own single/album artwork.
