Starling Unveils New Single ‘Profiteroles’
London's pop singer/songwriter Starling is back with a brand new single Profiteroles. This is a super infectious, dynamic pop track whith a groovy melody and an artsy-vibe. Love the way she sings here, reminds me a bit of Lorde in some parts of the song. It's easy on the ear and I'm all up for this groove. Stream it below!

Speaking about the song Starling said,
It’s a song about growing up in English suburbia and asking questions about the things that are so adult-ing. Realising instead I need to ask what’s important to me not what’s important to culture - measure me - marry me - my purpose in life is not to stay thin or get a ring on my finger - it’s to make art and be kind.
The video for Profiteroles was directed and produced by Luke Courtenay Smith and Tim Hyland from LNT Productions. Speaking about it Starling said,
The video vision was about dance and art and Englishness. We filmed in this old wonky high street to symbolise the journey from restriction to freedom and dance is an extension of that, as is the open beach.
Profiteroles is taken from her upcoming EP, The Soul, which will arrive on June 22nd. Starling will headline The Waiting Room in London on September 26th.
