TONSU Releases ‘A Broken World (ft. Briana Sorgiovanni)’
TONSU, the solo project of Australian up and coming music producer David Jonker, has just released his brand new single, A Broken World, featuring Perth based singer Briana Sorgiovanni.

A Broken World has been a project in the works for the past two years, morphing a variety of genres and sounds to create a track that's unique to anything either artist has produced or written before. This single explores current worldly issues and social stigmas. Stream it below!

TONSU finds influence from artists such as Purity Ring, Flume and ODESZA, film score composers such as Hans Zimmer and in cinematic and brooding melodic electronic music.

His love for music began young with an interest in playing the drums before this sparked his interest with music production. After purchasing Ableton and an Ableton Push in mid 2015, TONSU describes the tools as "opening up a whole new world on being able to create music".

TONSU is presently working on a number of projects with a variety of Perth vocalists. One of which is singer/songwriter Tim Roose, whom he has recently completed his first EP with. He describes this EP as genre defying as it blurs the lines between Electronic, Cinematic, R&B and Soul pop music.
