Jenesia Unveil New Single "Mexico"
Jenesa and Alexander deliver us a highly infectious pop track with EDM vibe to it. Mexico is super groovy, has a catchy chorus and an overall feel-good vibe that oozes summer. Jenesa's vocals are super sweet and are beautifully complimented by Alexander's vocals in the chorus. I am really enjoying this song guys and if you want some music for your summer playlists this is one to add!
With this release they've unveiled the accompanying visuals, directed by Justin Brunelle, which were shot in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and features cool choreography and landscapes views. Watch it below!
Mexico was inspired by a trip to Mexico and it explores the passion between a married couple. Speaking about the song Jenesa said,
A lot of current upbeat songs we know are more about singles hooking up. There are tons of jokes in North American comedy about how marriage is a kill-joy. Some comics joke that all sex dies after people tie the knot. We wanted to show that passion absolutely exists for us and sometimes getting away from everything can make it even better!!
Jenesia's musical influences range from acts such as The Civil Wars, John Mayer, Amy Winehouse and Aretha Franklin.
