Foemen Unveil New Single "Interfear"
Time for more electronic music! Indie/electro act from Newcastle Australia, Foemen, have unveiled their brand new single Interfear. This track is packed with thick & layered synths with some intricate guitar sounds. The song is about ‘ones’ frustration of feeling insecure. The feeling of letting go of this insecurity is just bliss! Stream it below!

Foemen germinated out of an 18 month exploration of the US and Europe in 2014/2015. Starting off as a party of two, they were influenced by the violent histories of the countries they visited and their mutual love of electronic, pop and rock. Foemen, an old English term for an enemy in war, released their first album in 2016, Detritus City, with the help of Sydney producer and long-time friend, Dave Hammer.

Teaming back up with Dave Hammer for Interfear, Brendy Cann & Dave Hammer continued their songwriting focused on layered and intricate sounds. They both feel right at home in Dave Hammer’s studio.

Foemen are influenced by a broad range of artists such as Placebo, Depeche Mode, Gary Numan, David Bowie, Interpol, Kavinsky & Gessafelstein to name a few.

In order to deliver a live show of face-melting euphoria, Foemen have since grown into a full 5 piece band and reside in the formerly known as 'Steel City', Newcastle. They are currently honing in on their live performance, recently playing shows with The Preatures and The Owls.

Foemen are playing a handful of Newcastle shows to see out the year & plan to release follow up singles early next year & take their live performance around the country
