Betsy shares new single ‘You Won’t Love Me’
BETSY has confirmed plans for new single You Won’t Love Me, taken from her much-anticipated, self-titled debut album (which will be released on September 29th on Warner Brothers). This follows the success of recent track Little White Lies, which picked up support across Radio 2, 6Music, Virgin Radio and saw BETSY make her TV debut (with two breakout performances in Germany, plus ITV’s Weekend show and Britain’s Got More Talent in the UK).

Her powerhouse vocals sound amazing here guys! Love, love, LOVE it! Gives me some Cher vibes! Speaking about You Won’t Love Me
is about someone I was madly in love with, and someone who I should not have been for so many reasons. I felt like he loved me because he couldn’t be with me and also because he liked the idea of me being a singer, but I really felt that if we took the relationship any further it would all crumble to dust. You know when it’s the wrong love because it feels so much stronger.

With her powerhouse vocal range, direct ear for hooks, no-nonsense attitude and unerring ability to locate the sharpest grid references of heartache in music, BETSY is a once-seen, never-forgotten pop proposition. Crossing elements of soul, euphoric dance and soaring, gospel-soaked power ballads, her self-titled debut album is shot through with unflinching lyrical honesty, and draws from an unlikely musical background.

BETSY’s European headline tour – featuring London’s Scala on November 30th – is on sale now.
