Prince has scored the #1 and #2 spots on the Billboard 200 albums chart with the greatest hits set The Very Best of Prince and the Purple Rain soundtrack, as both albums re-enter the chart in the wake of his death on April 21st. The Very Best of Prince marks Prince’s 5th #1 album on the Billboard 200 chart earning 179,000 equivalent album units. It took nearly half-day for fans to get Prince on top of the chart! Purple Rain sold 69,000 units. In the Billboard 200 there are present 8 Prince albums in addition to his top 2: The Hits/The B-Sides (#6),  1999 (#31), Ultimate (#61), Sign ‘O’ the Times (#95), HITnRun: Phase One (#147) and his self-titled album (#160).
